ESM Goh Chok Tong met with State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, 16 March 2017.


     Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong had a four-eye meeting followed by lunch with State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on 16 March 2017.  They reaffirmed the close ties between Singapore and Myanmar, and also discussed political developments in Myanmar.  State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi welcomed Singapore’s friendship and continued support for Myanmar’s development.


     ESM Goh and the delegation will be leaving Nay Pyi Taw later this evening.
