     President of the United States Donald J Trump called Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 30 April 2017.  This was the second phone conversation between the leaders.  The first call took place on 2 December 2016.

     PM and President Trump affirmed the deep and longstanding relationship between Singapore and the United States. They expressed satisfaction that ministers from both sides are already working with each other and looked forward to meeting each other soon.
