Please accept my warmest congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
As fellow small states, Timor-Leste and Singapore share warm and longstanding relations, underpinned by close cooperation bilaterally and at multilateral fora. Singapore remains committed to helping Timor-Leste achieve its nation building goals through the provision of capacity building assistance under the Singapore Cooperation Programme.
