Ms Carolyn Fairbairn, Director-General of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) called on Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the WTO and WIPO, Ambassador Tan Hung Seng on 21 October 2019. The discussion focused on Singapore’s trade policy and ongoing efforts at the WTO, including the Joint Statement Initiative on E-Commerce.  Ms Fairbairn, was accompanied by United Kingdom’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the WTO, Ambassador Andrew Staines.
