Singapore hosts first Capacity Building Support Forum, 4 February 2020

Singapore’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other International Organisations at Geneva Umej Bhatia and Norway’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other International Organisations at Geneva Hans Brattskar co-chaired the first Capacity Building Support Forum, held at the Permanent Mission of Singapore in Geneva on 4 February 2019.  The meeting, a collaboration between Singapore, Norway and Universal Rights Group, discussed ways to improve the implementation of human rights through enhancing capacity building and technical cooperation, and provided a platform for various states to present their capacity building needs and technical assistance capabilities, to identify potential partnerships.
