Singapore tops the list of 141 countries ranked in the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Competitiveness Report 2019, rising one spot from last year. WEF cited the following factors for our strong showing – our open economy, strong labour-employer relations, skilled and dynamic workforce, robust infrastructure, and the government’s responsiveness to change.
